If you're already published, what's the advantage of republishing with Amazon?
If you have already published a book, you first need to review your publishing contract to make sure you have the rights to publish through platforms like Amazon. Also, depending on your publishing path, your publisher may have already set your book up for sale on Amazon. Having your book for sale on Amazon is an advantage since it is the largest retailer of books and will make your book more discoverable to readers.
Republishing a book means changing, modifying, merging, or improving your book for all versions/formats, which will require new ISBNs. If you want to make significant changes to your book and release a new edition, it may be worth republishing. If you are receiving calls or emails about "republishing" your book or repricing it, these may be scams.
