WordWise Media owner and literary agent Steve Hutson enjoys receiving and reviewing manuscripts with spiritual or religious themes. But, he doesn't enjoy them when the content is too preachy. Hutson recognizes that many writers feel called to write the fiction stories or nonfiction books they are submitting. The problem is when the content feels shallow or forced. Hutson must also consider the marketability of the content he is reviewing. If it's too niche it won't reach a very broad audience. Writers must understand that while their writing might be ministry for them, at the end of the day, it's a business.
Yes, I found this video and advice very informative.
This was very helpful to me. Thank you
This man is correct on a lot of things. When people say they have been invited by God. They're not they're just shoving down their books down your throat and sometimes it doesn't work. Or they said they've been anointed by God no one knows what that means or how it means they haven't been properly teached.
Thank you for this one Steve.
