Hi Dieter,
Isn’t that one of the great things about the writing process? – Sometimes it steers the book in unexpected directions. Exhilarating as this can be, it can make classification tricky. If you need a hand deciding what classification best suits your book, check out our article on the basics of genre as we break down genre criteria.
Hi I have 67% completed a love/romance/adventure novel that has protagonists going by ship from Shanghai to the Bendigo goldfields. Lots of erotic scenes. Post Taiping wars in China, pirates, typhoons, a cyclone, sailing along the coast by Eastern Australia, round the bottom through bass Strait, a storm, and finally Melbourne only to find the white Australia policy prevents them disembarking. Plus there is more graphic travel and drama including murder Is that a graphic novel? I think its an epic move novel What is your opinion. Dieter
