Media Interview Advice for New Authors - video

Participating in media interviews can be foreign territory for most new authors. While doing newspaper, radio and television interviews can be intimidating, they are all very effective and necessary ways to create awareness for an author's work. The key to a good media interview, per author and communications coach Steve Piacente, is to walk in with your own agenda. Don't let the media outlet have all of the control. He recommends becoming a student of the game, analyzing what others are doing effectively in interview situations, and making sure the points on your agenda are covered.
