Overcoming Your Fears and Anxieties - podcast

It wasn't until Patty Chang Anker was 40-years-old that she realized she had been holding herself back in life. That's when she began talking risks, which started with diving into a pool and soon led to walking a tightrope, auditioning for a show and learning to surf. Chang, a TedX speaker, wrote "Some Nerve" about this journey of facing fears and finding exhiliration. The act of writing the book, however, led to a new set of fears that most authors can relate to: fear of facing rejection, fear of the blank page or not being able to finish. Being able to weather these ups and downs, though, still brings Anker a sense of accomplishment. Read on to find out how Anker and others pushed past their limitations.
