  • Thanks Andrea for the helpful advice on using social media to promote our books. As you say, in order to gain a following an author needs to write informative, helpful articles about various interesting topics (not just about themselves). Having conversations on Facebook, Linked-In, Twitter etc can help enormously, but, of course, it is time consuming. Authors should also contact every regional paper in towns where they have previously lived, as well as where they live now, and send out individual Press Releases, including their local connections. Best of luck to everyone!
