Make your readers feel appreciated by giving them something of value whether that's inspiration or educational articles. This is easy to do with social media and blogs. Book marketing is trending towards being kinder and gentler with a focus on community. Visuals are also becoming increasingly important. Brooks recommends being active on platforms such as Instagram to engage your audience. But, do keep in mind that less is more when it comes to social media marketing.
