He says that you can't let the fear of rejection stop you from fulfilling your publishing dream. This interview will encourage you to be tenacious in the face of rejection. It will remind you that even the biggest authors have dealt with rejection, and if they can overcome it, so can you.

  • When I watched this video I thought Oh boy there are no guarantees. I felt sorry for myself. It was like I knew I was going to be rejected. I have just sent the last two sections of my book to my editor. I have put my all into it. I want this work published yet, I felt like there was much I did not know. Be that the only reason for my moaning, I know it will get better. Thank you Robert for your insight into launching my writing career.
  • Thanks Robert. I will plod on as long as there is a story in me to tell
  • Very helpful, thank you. I am just starting out and am glad I saw this now. Thank you Robert
  • I have marked this as a favorite. Rejection can be hard and often will cause a person to just throw their hands up in the air. Watch this video before it comes to that. I am sure I will. This reminds of words that a good teacher would tell a student that may have trouble in a certain subject. A little encouragement can go a long way.
  • The old saying goes "If at first you don't succeed try and try again." If your book isn't the greatest there has to be a reason why. Search for that reason and edit the material until it can't possibly be edited anymore than let it sit for a while. Maybe later on there will be a method for filling the giant holes in your plot. Once the filling is finished then put it out again. There will always be a publisher out there that will take your diamond in the rough and polish it.
