Annette Leach, Publisher of Uriel Press and Vice President of UMI Book Division, shares the mission of UMI’s self-publishing imprint, Uriel Press, and why it was created. UMI’s goal is to publish books by people of color and to build a community of reader’s to help them grow in their love for God and people. Not only does Uriel Press help in the publishing process, but they also offer support in the marketing and distribution of their authors’ books. In addition to nonfiction, they now publish a broad spectrum of genres with an even greater outreach including fiction, poetry, children’s books, and even cookbooks.
