Comics in the Classroom - podcast

The state board of education has tied comics into the national education core standards. Comics provide an alternative way to read, especially for dyslexic readers. Comic books gave Edmund a way into caring about school and led to his first job opportunity. Discovery Channel, Disney Channel, and Animal Planet have all taken an interest in bringing comics into the classroom.
