Publicist and author Bryan Beach believes the best way to keep a reader's attention is to establish some type of conflict in your story. The conflict doesn't always have to be of epic proportions - it can be minor and can be internal or external. The key is to establish this conflict early on to give you, the writer, the opportunity to tell the journey as the protagonist tries to resolve the conflict. It creates a solid base for having a beginning, middle and ending to the story. Creating conflict will start the action while the resolution will bring closure to the story.
I read about finding conflict. Furthermore, It starts with internal and external. Moreover, I learned my Internal Conflict is hydrocephalus and my External Conflict be Secondary Homelessness. Perhaps, I'm writing IIA which is my upcoming Homeless Poetry Collection, building my love relationship with Lexie as my future wife, Booking rooms to hotels and starting up my Internet Research Business are parts of my resolution.
You're welcome!
