Looking back on his career, entertainment expert and media arts instructor Dan Watanabe says he is most proud of being a teacher. He wishes that more young people had confidence in their talents, and in his role as a teacher and mentor, Watanabe works to inspire as many people as he can to find that confidence. While students are preoccupied with the notion that their work has to be perfect, Watanabe reminds them that they should write what they were born to write, and then figure out the rest later. If you are confident in the work you create, it becomes easier to sell it and share it with others.
