Finding a good critique partner is a critical part of the writing and editing process if a writer wishes to produce high quality work. Author Ed Aymar explains that writers often have a different story in their head than what makes it into the manuscript, so it's important that they see their work from someone else's perspective. If a writer is serious about his or her craft, he recommends attending writing workshops or writing groups, where you can easily find critique partners. He also recommends searching online or reaching out to authors whose work you admire.
