The Value of a Writer's Group - video
New and experienced authors alike can benefit greatly from writer's groups. Author Frances Frost discusses the value of writer's groups and how they have improved her writing process. While there are many ways to find a writer's group, from online groups to a local library, Frost's writing group grew out of a writing class. They meet every two weeks and share a chapter or two of their work. The group members give honest critiques and express what works and what doesn't. Frost enjoys these groups because they allow her to bounce ideas off of others and fix potential issues. You can ensure that your story is being received and interpreted as you envisioned.
