Balancing Act - video

Author Peggy Kelsey discusses how she learned to write for her reader's expectations. Writers should know their audience and develop the book according to that audience's expectations. When writing her book, she had to take a slower-paced language and tailor the stories to her readers, who expected simple, direct language without losing the flavor of the interviewees' words.
