The Dynamics of a Co-Authoring Relationship - podcast

Aligning expectations is the key to a successful co-authoring relationship. Doug Stone and Shelia Heen, co-authors of "Thanks for the Feedback" explain issues to discuss up front, like roles and how each person perceives/handles deadlines, the writing process and stress. They do warn that some unforseen aspects emerge during the process of writing, and as in any relationship, the ability to listen, understand and work through conflict is essential.
