The Right Time to Write - video

There are a limited number of hours in the day and it can be difficult to fit writing into a busy schedule. Author and speaker Maureen Francisco discusses the importance of making time to write and understanding what works for you. She compares writing to an exercise routine—you must make time to exercise and be consistent if you want to reap the benefits and see results, and the same is true in writing. Find a time that works for you and stick with it, whether that is during lunch breaks, at the airport, or before bed. Include writing as part of your regular routine to reach your goal of seeing your work as a published book.

      • I agree those few bits of writing here and there all add up.
        • That true . Nothing is impossible if you chose to do it, and one you decide to go for it, make a daily commitment about it.
          • Yes, I agree, making time is important. I do find it very hard to stay on target. 2015 will be different, I need to make some changes in my life and one of them is to focus more on my writing.
