Like most authors, Andre believes she has a muse, but she is able to channel the muse on demand. She encourages other authors to experiment and do what works best for them.

    Bill - one piece of advice comes from John Locke (https://www.authorlearningcenter.com/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=john+locke&x=0&y=0). He suggests you avoid research while you are writing. Just make notes about what you need to fill in with research and keep moving. That way you don't get distracted while writing by looking up the name of a street or a building in your town, for instance.
