This is exactly how I felt when I finished writing my novel, I started having doubts about work and what people woukd think about. It feels good to know thats a normal feeling. Thanks for the advice : )
I agree you have to write what you know. i discovered, the more you write, the more you remember about the things to write. Dont'give up on your story even though it may seem difficult.Give it a break if you have too but always come back and begin again. Little by little you will finish it if it was worth starting it is worth finishing. Remember,your story will never end it will continue on through eternity.
This is my first time here. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Mr. David Wong. I am planning to write a documentary or a biography. I cannot agree less than what you said. I think the most essential element in writing documentaries, biographies or true stories is the honesty that the writer is putting into it. Cheers to future reads!
