Buried in the Sky - podcast

Author Peter Zuckerman discusses how the character perspectives in his nonfiction book defined the story from a different angle. His book Buried in the Sky is a story about a real life adventure about a catastrophic climb up K-2. He discusses how history is not usually told through the eyes of the help, and often, the names and stories of the minor characters aren't included. Zuckerman argues that it's important to include the ignored perspective. He explains that we're surrounded by people we rarely notice in everyday life and that we need to notice and tell those people's stories.
