Ray Locker, author and journalist, started writing Nixon's Gamble after years of research and a lifetime of interest in Richard Nixon, the 37th President of the United States. The book focuses on Nixon's creation of a secret government to enable his foreign policy initiatives, and how this move undermined U.S. policy and values. Started in 2011, the book was picked up by a publisher in 2014 and released in 2015.
