Collaborating with Clients - podcast

Dan Gerstein, President of Gotham Ghostwriters, discusses how to create successful collaborative writing relationships. He advises setting expectations upfront with the client. The conversation should cover the time schedule or a realistic expectation of the time necessary to produce good work. There needs to be a plan so the writer and client are on the same page. The client needs to be available to provide ideas, direction, and voice. If a writer doesn't have access, it will delay the work and make it harder to give them the content they're wanting.

  • I've never thought about Co-Authoring or Ghostwriting and would love more information about this subject, such as the process, the cost involved and how one would go about speaking to someone to see if they'd be interested in a project. I'm a first time author and feel stuck, so would like more info on this subject.
