  • Mrs Albright, Your tutorial is very useful. It confirms I should focus on my novels first. Nicole Audet www.nicoleaudet.com
  • Dear Beth: I published my first book "Bridges" (November 2013) and pleased to know that I am on the right track--re staying in control of my work. You confirmed my mindset. Thank you. Leatha Patton
  • Interesting how different novelists are from screenwriters. According to Beth Albright, who has written both novels and screen plays, it's better to be a novelist partly because you can be charge of your book. If you write a screenplay, the producers of your play will make many changes to your work. Not only that.. .you often have to give the RIGHTS to your work to the producer of the play (i.e. Disney) If you write a novel, you have more flexibility in terms of owning the rights to your work as well as not having some screen play producer make major changes to your work.. And screen play writing involves dialog only which can be boring... Excellent presentation
  • Great "heads up" advice. I am a new writer, but I am pretty assertive that I will continue to write. I love writing for the kiddies! It gives me relaxation and stimulation to just write! There is no wiggle room for error in screenwriting. I have seen movies that I actually could have re-written!
