  • Hello. What you initially did to find a Publicist was really helpful to me. Thank you for your tips.
  • thanks for your sharing!

Did I understand correctly? Thanks! Because I'm really interested in working with a traditional publisher but don't know how to......

Yes, PJ does make it sound easy. She has such a great energy for sure. This is actually a very appealing path for many authors who start as indie authors and move into traditionally published authors. Some examples of success include John Lock (we've interviewed him so if you search his name in the upper right corner you can learn more about him), Amanda Hocking, and Darcie Chan. It's still rare that one moves from SP to TP, but it does happen. Another trend is the reverse, where folks move from TP to SP. Famous authors who have done so include Seth Godin (also interviewed here on the ALC), Barry Eisler, and Joe Konrath. I think the beauty of the publishing market these days is that you really can choose whatever path is right for you and for any specific book project. You may find one project is better as an indie ebook while another is best suited for the traditional publishing (TP) path and worth the extra effort and time that path takes. The field of options is wide open.
  • Good for you... You make it sound really easy... Which I know its not...
